A display typeface referencing the lettering work of Brazilian Art Deco master, J. Carlos. Born in Rio de Janeiro, José Carlos de Brito e Cunha (1884 — 1950) contributed to all prime publications from the 1900s to the late 1940s, including O Malho, Fon-Fon!, Para Todos, and O Cruzeiro, picturing a range of fictionalized characters and popular figures of the time — being "Melindrosa" a recurring persona who represented the feminist movement in the 1920s.
